Two months into the year and I feel like I have already learnt a lot at work. This has been because I’m having more complicated issues to resolve and having to work on systems I’ve not used before. I had to integrate two systems together, either or which I had used before. That was a stressful time as I only had just over a week to do it in.

Since I came back from my holiday in September I seem to have lost my ability to just leave work at work. I used to just switch off at 5:30 and forget I had a job until I woke up in the morning. Even now at home I’ve got ideas of what needs to be done at work. I’m looking forward to my week off and I’ll make sure that I block all the work numbers. I think one reason I’ve not been able to switch off is because of winter. I’ve been indoors a lot and not doing very much as I can only do outdoor things during the day with good weather. As the days are getting longer I’m really looking forward to riding my bike and just being outside without freezing or getting wet.
