Rockingham Rally And Writing

I went to a rally that my friend was competing in at the end of my semester. I realized that my anxiety will not have an overnight cure and that it is something I will have to fight to overcome. It took me an hour to leave the house but after a few minutes in the car on the way to the rally I'd calmed down. After a few wrong turns I made it to Rockingham Motor Speedway and met my friend Dan. The timing was perfect as I was walking to the grandstand he drove past. I'd never met Dan before but I've know him from the Kustom PC forums for a while, It was also the first rally that I've been too. I spent the day taking pictures of the cars and hanging out with the team Dan was in. I saw a few cars lose control or have a moment on the wet tarmac. With the spot lights on the car it's fun to watch them slide.

I've not written on my website for a while and I suppose it's because I've had no real desire to. No motivation to share my thoughts with the world or when I do try and write something it's just a stream of dull crap. I asked for 1984 by George Orwell for christmas as it's a book that I have read a little of before but never finished. I read a lot of things on the internet or chat to people in English but that doesn't help me to learn new words or improve my writing style. This is probably why I hate writing the reports for my assignments as I am not able to get my message across first time. Often the reports are re-written many times before being ready to hand in. It takes time to warm up before I start to write stuff that I feel is good, like the rally paragraph above I don't think is very good but I shell leave it in anyway.
